Positive Impact – the ANKEN Legacy
ANKEN specialises in the reuse and redevelopment of existing buildings for commercial office, retail and mixed-use purposes. By doing this, we bring new life to buildings and areas that have been abandoned or fallen into disrepair.
Our philosophy is that everyone can make a positive contribution to our community and environment and we promote this at a grass roots level, through design, management practices and community initiatives.
ANKEN is a strong advocate of this kind of urban renewal – one which attracts creative and innovative industries in order to collectively effect positive change and placemaking.
We also believe in the power of public art to cultivate placemaking. Our growing collection features an eclectic mix of local and international artists such as Michael Wolf, Nod Young, Tony Ng, Damien Hirst and Tracy Emin.
